Poppy Day coming May 15th
Every May, I look forward to it, Poppy Day.
From the times our kids were small, we've always taught them to have the utmost respect for our Veterans.
Then we discovered Poppy Day.
I remember the day that I made a donation to a group of sweet ladies out on the sidewalk and received my poppy. As I put it on my rearview mirror, I quickly heard how my youngest wanted to "do the next one" meaning she wanted to put some money in the next can for the Veterans, so we drove around until we found more Poppy Ladies.
